Collaborators who have made my experiences possible:
Dr. David M. Whittinghill is the CGT Assistant Professor of Game Development at the Purdue Polytechnic Institute, and the creator of the Games Innovation Lab. He has shared VR research at GDC, worked in the industry, and paved the way for gaming education at Purdue University.
Michele Walker is a Continuing Lecturer at the Purdue Polytechnic Institute of Richmond. Evolving with artistic and marketing industries, accumulating 20+ years of experience, her current focus is on using animation, gaming, and HCI to create therapeutic environments.
We work to make game development studies active, accessible, and fun.
Scaffolded dev exercises, open-ended assignments, and plenty of project time is offered and closely monitored to ensure that students not only learn the content, but use it to excel.
As a CGT major, interdisciplinary teamwork and specialization is encouraged, working to create an increasingly industry-ready curriculum.
